Extremely polite and caring team starting with Mandy at Reception to Nurse and Dentist. This was my first time ever... availing their services. I walked in to the dental clinic in lot of pain from molars. I was quickly taken into care then diagnosed and treated; all within 2 hour window. Mandy went above and beyond and ensured I was comfortable after the procedures. She also followed up with me via phone recapping the after steps and that help is available or who to contact after hours in case of dental emergency. Best experience ever! I came into this dental clinic as a new patient with a lot of work needing to be done. I have been in weekly for the... last five months to see this lovey team of professionals. From beginning to end they all were friendly and supportive and honestly my biggest cheer squad. Dr. Sonika was absolutely amazing! The Front staff, Tonisha, Dr. Vithlani make you feel extremely comfortable. They treat you as if you were always a... regular patient. I feel relief in finding this dentist office. My wife had the pleasure of a nice experience as well with front staff and main dental professionals.The Only thing I will be requesting is that Jules/Julie NEVER performs any work of any kind on myself or my family. Her cleaning was not methodical at all, leaving my teeth confused as per what just happened to them. But it was a good test of how strong my neck was, to keep my head in the chair as she scrapped my teeth with all her weight and might. Was also a good test of my pain threshold. To be quite honest, shortly after she started working, my intuition told me this would be my worst dental experience in almost 50 years, so I jumped up and was going to walk out. But I remembered it was most likely 100% covered under my benefits and I don’t have much time to see a dentist. So I sat back down, hoping my intuition finally lied to me. But it did not.I waited awhile to write this review, to see if I would let this behaviour go and call it a one off maybe. But no, the more I think about her actions, her words, her energy, the more I think that other patients and management need to know. She seemed to enjoy using her strength, and testing mine to grind my teeth in a very unnecessary manner.We always talk more about the negative things it seems. So, I will leave you with this, my wife and I moved ourselves toMountainview and in time we will bring our children here (because they love their current dentist). I had teeth cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction. I was super nervous about the extraction as it was my first time and... I must say dental hygienist Joanie and Dr. Vithlani and assistant Tunisia all three of them took really good care of me during the cleaning and extraction processes. They explained each and every step to me and also made sure I was comfortable and even gave me a stress ball to ease my nervousness. I had an urgent dental need! Even though they had no openings and my normal dentist was out of town they accommodated... me! They truly care and offered concern & empathy. I was in the office within an hour. I drive all the way from Calgary to Carstairs because of the outstanding personality of my Dentist. She truly cares about people. Mountain View Smiles is really excellent. Dr. PD removed two of my wisdom teeth last fall and it was an excellent... experience, 10/10 bedside manner. I have had a few procedures done here and never any pain or issues afterwards. The clinic is bright and clean and everyone, front desk staff, hygienists, assistants etc are very kind and friendly. No one ever makes you feel rushed. I love going to the dentist and don't have any anxiety but I'm sure they'd be really great if people are anxious as well.read more

As a busy mom of 3, with a husband that works away for weeks at a time, I am SO appreciative of how understanding they are with working around my busy schedule & usually having to call to change appointments. Right from the moment you first walk in the door, the whole place feels comforting. Visiting Mountain View Smiles in Carstairs was the best dental experience I have had. I am someone who has some anxiety... around dental work and the entire team was extremely kind and supportive in working with me.The receptionist was so welcoming and understanding, she ensured my dental benefits were in place and ready to go, so easy to communicate with via phone or text and there were flexible apts available which was amazing.The dental assistant, Tonisha, put me at ease immediately. She was professional but also made me laugh and walked me through every step. I felt so much more confident and comfortable about continuing on with the dental work. She was seriously the best!The hygienist, Joni, was also awesome. She checked in with me often to ensure I was comfortable and explained what she was doing and why. It was a great apt.And the dentist, Dr Sonika, was so supportive and kind. I loved how she walked me through all the X-rays and dental photos so that I had a real understanding of my dental health and the work that needed to be done. Everything felt so transparent. I had some old fillings that were cracked and needed to be replaced and it was a fast and pain free apt.I am excited to be able to go back for my next routine check up and no longer have all the dental anxiety. Staff are absolutely awesome. Explained everything to me and even gave me freezing that didn't make my heart feel like... it would explode as I had a bad experience at a previous dentist. Dr. Darshan is dedicated to collaborative patient care, emphasizing knowledge-sharing and educating individuals about their oral health.
